Peter did kinda leave Quill back there after chewing him a new one. It probably wasn't Peter's finest moment, but once he cooled down, he did feel a tinge of guilt.
"Um," Peter begins tentatively. "She's going to be okay. Kash is healing her, but it might take a couple of days before she's back to normal."
Peter presses his lips together.
"I don't know everything that happened back there," he says, gesturing vaguely in the direction of where they were, very far away from where they sat inside the pool bar. "But you're stronger than Liz, and older, so you have to look after her."
