Peter presses his lips together. He's not really sure what to say. He'd supported her deciding to go this route up until now because he didn't want to stop her from doing anything she wanted to do. He didn't want to be controlling. He didn't want to be the sort of boyfriend who would tell her what she could and couldn't do.

And he did want her to be able to protect herself. Because truthfully, he was scared that someday he might not be there to protect her and she'd be hurt because of it. But that was exactly what happened yesterday because she tried to learn how to protect herself.

"Okay," he says finally. "I'll talk to Liz."
